Abundance
I am overwhelmed at the goodness of our Lord! It seams that everytime I update the pantry needs, they get filled. We have heard many stories lately about the Lord's provision in our body. Here is a quick one from me. Our budget is very tight right now, since my husband has had his work cut down to 4 days a week. We of course are very much enjoying the extra day off! I tend to be very organized when it comes to finanaces and the Lord has been teaching me rely more and more on Him and less on the numbers. My budget file on the computer even got corrupted. Several times during this season it has seemed we could not pay off a bill, but we have always been provided for. I was reading to my daughter last night from her kid's bible about how the birds are always provided food and the flowers are always dressed (Matthew 6). How much more does the Lord want to provide for us! The Storehouse is overflowing. Please don't hesitate to come if you are in need of food. Taste and see that the Lord is good!

Jesus is the Plan
I have been meditating on Ephesians 1:7-10 (The Message) which says, "Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we're a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free! He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth." The Lord showed me a picture of all things, circumstances, issues, plans, people, everything ... crumpled up like a piece of paper and stuffed into the body of Jesus on the Cross. He took everything that was ugly and made it a part of His beautiful plan and revealed it to us. The plan for our provision is Jesus! The plan for our healing is Jesus! The plan for our lives is Jesus!

The Lord's Provision
The Lord has been teaching me about our need for His provision. I’m realizing that I can not live this life on my own strength. The harder I work, the more things do not work out. The more I rely on Him, the more I see His provision. We get His joy when we give up ourselves. Galatians 6:4-5 in The Message says: “Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don't be impressed with yourself. Don't compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.” We are sons of God and our work is to believe in Jesus (John 6:29). How simple and wonderful! Our work is not to do chores, keep a schedule, or even to earn money, but to fix our eyes on the effectiveness of Jesus’ death on the cross. When we make that our focus, our steps will be ordered by Him because we are one with Him (Galatians 2:20) and our lives will be blessed.

Coming to the Table
This thought came to me during worship that the Lord sets a banquet table before us every day and we have to avail ourselves of the delicious specially prepared meals. He's not going to force feed us, we have to come and eat.
The Storehouse has been specially prepared for those who need food and if/when we need it, we must come and avail ourselves of the provision. The table has been set--the Lord is saying Come!
